fuckyeahtattoos: This is my 7th tattoo I got 2 days ago. It’s an Audrey Kawasaki piece that I had stumbled upon and instantly fell in love. It includes my love for her artwork as well as photography, which has always been a hobby of mine. Done by Jess V @ Sacred Tattoos in New York, NY.  p.s. She’s the best!

LOVE THIS fuckyeahtattoos: I’ve always been obsessed with Japan - the language, the food, the culture, anime and manga, etc., since I was probably 12 years old. I got sakura blossoms tattooed on my side when I turned 18 as a dedication to it, and now I have this. I wanted  a sumi-e ink style Japanese Tea garden sleeve, and while it is still a work in progress (and it turned out much darker than I had wanted :P ) I am really in love with it. Along with being my tribute to Japan and my love for it, I also used pictures of the tea gardens in San Fransisco as reference pictures because I have lived in the bay area my whole life; It is my home. I’ll be adding more to it along the way, as well as on the rest of my body! I have a Japanese theme going :)
